I took my 87 year old mother to have a scan of her carotid artery as prescribed by her cardiologist. She is short of breath, suffers from leg pain and struggles getting ready to go out. Her appt was at 3:45. We were asked to arrive at 3:30. I called ahead while driving there to let them know we were running late and asked if they would still be able to see her.
