Sending me a bill when you could do nothing but cause me more stress during this cancer process is absurd. I talked to the doctor for 20 minutes, and this place caused nothing but issues. My treatments were delayed weeks because of this Wellspring's laziness. Send my appointment charge to charity since you all think you can charge $200 for a 20 minute appointment where you weren't even sure that your location would even be able to accept my insurance. I met with Dr Culbert twice. It was Dr. Culbert that told me about the Onco test for breast cancer. I left with the impression he ordered the test which he did not. After my medical oncologist orded the test I returned to Dr. Culbert to go over the results. At the 2nd visit he informed me that regardless of the results that he always recommends 20 rounds of radiation after a lumpectomy. I wish he had told me that at the first visit.
I’m sure this is a great treatment center, but my treatment was delayed two weeks because my insurance wasn’t cooperating. Please then find a place for patients that need to start treatment right away. St Anthony’s is being revamped with the help of someone from the Cleveland Institute. They took me in, no questions asked besides, when can we get started. The staff here was nice while I was having fits about why they wanted $6k to start(insurance issues) though. visited here today with a friend who is considering radiation, and this Dr. Shamp was absolutely fantastic. Best doc I have sat with in a long time. We came in with alot of confusion, and left with alot of clarity. He really took time to make sure we understood everything, and that is rare these days.
