I had surgery for the removal of 2 large kidney stones. The PA described it as an easy peasy in and out surgery with just a bit of discomfort from the stent afterwards. The Dr was much more honest and let me know I wouldn’t like the stent when I met before surgery. It was extremely painful. Plus after stent removal my side is very tender and sore. Talking to the portal really sucks. If they don’t understand something and you call the office and request them to call so you can clarify… they respond via portal and it’s still unclear. God help anyone that is trying to get medication assistance.
