If only there was a way to get my copay back that I wasted by coming here. I came in for suspicious bruising around some bug bites and was seated almost immediately which was great, but waited in the exam room for roughly 55 minutes. I work in healthcare so I get it, things happen. However, I was one of 3 people in the waiting room so they did not exactly appear to be busy or overwhelmed in the back. I was gonna do 0 stars but it won’t let me… I got called back got my temperature taken and blood pressure then was told a provider would be with me in a minute, a half an hour later and me my grandmother have yet to be seen by any doctor. Mind you there’s only 4 people here…
Why pay for a medical degree if you have no intention of using it? Twice now my husband has gone to the urgent care and an NP says “well I don’t think it’s anything but I guess we’ll scan” then the x ray shows nothing and out the door he went. What happened to figuring out what the problem is? Doing some actual problem solving. But no we run one test and see nothing and say “oh well” it’s lazy and honestly with the cost of health care it’s offensive. So to the emergency room we had to go to get actual answers. We took our toddler here after he fell and split his chin open. Everyone was so kind to him. He ended up needing stitches. The team worked together to make is as seamless as possible. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. The CRNP who did his stitches was quick and did a great job. I think his name was Phil.
I find the lack of empathy, especially from the front desk (Heather specifically) to be quite concerning. People are already vulnerable when sick and empathy goes a long way in the health care field. You should seriously address the way your front desk team deals with sick patients. My daughter was in yesterday and the lack of empathy AND professionalism was quite disgusting!
