Called today to find out why my prescription was being held up. They told me I have to have an appt with the “new doctor” before I can get it filled. My appt I then made is 5 weeks away so my meds will be held up. No apologies whatsoever from the unit secretary. If I had known I was getting a new doctor and would need to see them before my script could be filled I would have done so. Bad practice.
This place is horrible. I needed forms to be filled out, I asked if I could pay them online then send it through the portal. I was told no, I needed to come in person. The problem with that was I couldn't walk or drive, but they didn't care about that. I was then told it would take 10+ days to fill out the forms. Ridiculous. I would call often saying there is something wrong with me and the pain is horrible. I was called a drug addict then ignored. Absolutely horrible place. Wellspan in general is horrible. My wife called over a week ago trying to talk to a doctor about the issues she was having. It took Wellspan over a week to even attempt to reach out. Meanwhile in that week my wife had to be rushed to the hospital and transferred to a different hospital. So thank you Wellspan for doing absolutely nothing. No wonder why all the doctors keep leaving here and going to different places. We will be submitting a complaint to the DOH.
I went in thinking I had a good specialist! He told me he would run blood work and if come back neg will keep looking! Well blood work came back and that was it! No answers and he just gave up! These specialist only look to what's familiar and if they don't know they give up! So dissapointing. . Recently I tried again and Dr poked around getting back to me while I suffer!
