I had to follow with maternal fetal medicine for multiple issues during pregnancy. At my consultation during the first trimester Dr. OBrien and his team told me they would be there with me every step of the way. And they were. Towards the end I was having many ultrasounds. Even when not physically present in the office Dr. OBrien would always call and speak with me before the visit was over. It was nice having someone who cared and advocated for me during a stressful time.

The nurse doing my wife’s ultrasound was nice enough, but didn’t explain anything about what she was seeing or doing. Then Dr. O’Brien came in and let us know he was concerned about the pregnancy. He was extremely non-committal just saying it could be good or could be bad. He had zero emotion and concern for my wife when delivering this news. This office will upcharge you. I received a bill for 2 ultrasounds when I went for my gender reveal. There is no real way to dispute. You call Wellspan and are consistently 12th in line on hold. After making your way through you are told that they will put through a dispute with no timeframe and will eventually call you back. I received 2 ultrasound charges and 2 doctor charges since I guess he had to move his eyes from screen to screen. $1,400 in total just to find out the gender of my baby. We have been going here for 3 pregnancies now and have had positive interactions here with most of the staff. They are always quick and the ultrasound is so much better in quality here than if you were sent through an OBGYN. Regarding the previously written one star review...I am not sure why the charge for 2 ultrasounds. Perhaps a transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound were performed. I do not know.
