Wellspan would not do my 20 week anatomy ultrasound because my care provider is a Certified Practical Midwife and not a Certified Nurse Midwife. It didn't matter that I had the appropriate paperwork or that another local imaging center has done two ultrasounds at the request of the same CPM. The computer system would not allow the lady I spoke with to book the appointment because I am not seeing an OBGYN or CNM. This is discrimination.
