I recently got a referral to see an endocrinologist due to extreme thyroid symptoms and tsh levels at 4.25. Optimal tsh level for me is around 2.0, which I had 2 months prior. After speaking with 5 different staff and getting the run around at Wellspan Endocrinology for almost 2 weeks, I was told that my tsh was “normal” and I did not meet the criteria for an appointment with that practice. Had to reschedule my appt from June due to work, but today was 1st in and was treated like a king lol. My prep nurse Lori was awesome. Had a little nervousness that caused me to almost pass-out but she came in and cooled me off. Great bedside manners, not sure what happened when I went under but came out a little wozzee but was fine. In and out in an 1.5hrs. Thank you to all their staff. God Bless.

It took 4 months to get an initial appointment. The first appointment was useless. I was asked to schedule a test that could have been done before the appointment. There were no insights given. The earliest the follow up appointment could be was 5 months after. About a month from my follow up appointment, I was told that the doctor was no longer with the practice. And that they had no other doctor that could help me. I find this hard to believe as the issue was not unique. And they refused to provide a referral to another do... read more
