In a place where there should be empathy is the least there is, if I come to emergencies it is because I have it not as a joke, waiting more than 6 hours with acute pain, without giving you answers is unacceptable, I asked a nurse and she told me that if I wanted I could leave, the worst place to visit if you feel bad...
I went to the emergency department for chrohns issues. Severe Stomach Cramping, Nausea, and diarrhea. To my utter astonishment, I didn't receive a single test, or even an IV. They gave me 2 nausea pills (Zofran) which I'm already prescribed and had already taken before going. Within 45 minutes I was back out in my car feeling worse. The next time I'm sick, I'll force myself to drive the extra 2 hours to Hershey Medical Center than drive 10 minutes to this disaster of a hospital. Don't waste your time.
Excellent experience at wellspan hospital. Friendly and professional care by all involved with my sister. I would highly recommend the hospital.
Not a good place to go!
Screen time over checking on patients...go somewhere else.
