Michele is fantastic. She is so patient and kind and I never felt rushed during an appointment. Breastfeeding was not an easy journey for me and she helped me with all of three of my kids. I highly recommend her!
Michele has been THE biggest help in my breastfeeding journey and I honestly don’t think I would have been successful without her. I am still currently breastfeeding, and she is willing to answer any and all questions that arise. She is so passionate in her specialty and incredibly knowledgeable. Everyone needs a Michele!! My baby and I are so grateful to have had her expertise. I highly recommend getting on her schedule.
I tell every pregnant woman I know to go see Michelle at Breastfeeding Services. She’s been extremely helpful - from in person appointments to responding promptly when I send her messages through the mywellspan website. Michelle and Amy are both extremely professional, empathetic, and provide amazing support to new moms during an incredibly vulnerable time. York County is lucky to have this team!
I found the lactation consultant to be unfriendly and cold. Doctors and nurses working with postpartum women should be more warm, understanding, kind. I was pushed to use formula and bottle feed which has ruined my supply and my baby’s latch as now prefers the bottle. I had to return to work at 6 weeks postpartum. My baby continues to refuse the breast, and my work hours don’t permit me to make an appointment for help. Although I don’t think I would return here anyway.
