This is because I’ve been ignored by Robert McCommons. Whatever you do, use a different bank for your mortgage. Horrible experience trying to get PMI removed because Robert never responds to emails, calls nor texts.
Run as fast as you can. We sent all documentation April 26th for a May 31st closing. Well 2 months later and 6 missed closing dates by Wells Fargo has yet another delay. They stated missing documentation but they say we will have clear to close any day. That was 3 weeks ago. Communication from Anthony Gallop is next to nothing. Stay away from Ashley Pierson. He was extremely unprofessional, rude and unethical. I was talking to him regarding refinancing my mortgage. He quoted me a nominal out of pocket closing expense (in email and conversation), and sneakily added 5x the amount in the loan papers. If this is not unethical, I don't know what is. When he was confronted with it, he threatened to cancel the loan instead of explaining his behavior. Wells Fargo should be ashamed to employ such unethical people.
Murray Wall at Wells Fargo is one of only two mortgage officers that I use in my real estate business and there are hundreds of them in the Triangle area. Quite often I'll provide both names to a buyer and let the buyer go with whomever seems to be the best fit and sometimes I just feel one lender is going to be a better fit for a client I am working with.
