I went to the bank. Teller informed me about a new promotion going on and said the banker was busy and he would call me back later today. Banker subsequently called me from this location. And said he could "not disclose any of the rates over the phone and that I would need to schedule a time another day to come back to the bank to speak with him". A Masterclass in Incompetence This Wells Fargo branch has provided one of the most astonishing displays of incompetence I’ve ever encountered. In August, my elderly mother and I went in to cancel a recurring payment. After nearly an hour of back-and-forth, we were told it had been resolved. It wasn’t. I had a problem for a whole year where money was being withdrawn from my bank card, but I didn’t know the reason.
