I was locked out of my Wells Fargo account for suspicious activity. They told me I had to go to the bank to figure it out. The employee spent 30 minutes on the phone unlocking it and asked me to log in to the app. The app then told me to call them with a credit card number that I don't have. After 30 minutes with the employee I had to be on the phone for 8 minutes, got disconnected, spent 6 minutes on the phone with a different department and am currently on hold Wells Fargo is trash. They need to get their stuff together

Do not bank with Wells Fargo! After holding a Wells Fargo account for over six years with no monthly charges, my account was changed to one that imposed a $10 monthly service fee—without clear notification. By the time I discovered the change, more than a year’s worth of fees had been withdrawn, and the bank declined to reimburse these charges. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Wells Fargo due to their lack of transparency and poor handling of customer concerns.
