I do not recommend Wellsfargo to Anybody. I do NOT recommend Wells Fargo to anyone. My account was compromised, and I did exactly what a customer is supposed to do. In February, I received alerts about suspicious transactions and immediately contacted Wells Fargo to report that the charges were not mine. The bank was aware that fraudulent activity was occurring on my account before nearly $10,000 was ultimately taken. I am extremely disappointed with Wells Fargo Bank. My account was hacked and I started receiving text messages from the bank asking if certain transactions were mine. I immediately replied NO because I did not recognize them. A few hours later, I received more alerts, so I called the bank directly and explained again that those transactions were unauthorized. I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received. I was on the phone with a banker for less than one minute, and the sarcasm and rude attitude I encountered were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. I hope management takes customer concerns seriously and works to improve how customers are spoken to and treated moving forward.
