free checking, friendly tellers, poor desk help The Downtown Branch of Wells Fargo doesn't usually have long lines like the Washington Mutual. The tellers are very friendly. The supposed customer-service people at the desks are very obviously just salespeople on commision- they will ALWAYS ignore what you're asking or saying and try to sell you some upgrade. Or even upgrade you without asking. But I keep going back because I don't have to deal with them much, just the tellers. Except Money orders are $10, so go to 7-11.
