I came in Wells Fargo at 16:50, store closes at 17:00. After , Edwin, who stated he was store manager, asked what I was there for he quickly replied the system was down. However if I have an account he can cash my check and put it on account. I have been cashing the same Wells Fargo check for months with no issues. The staff her is extremely friendly. The branch manager, Ms. P, is astute and kind. I'm grateful for their patience and assistance in supporting me through some difficulty financial events I had with wiring funds. I highly recommend this branch for small businesses.
I truly applaud this Wells branch for staying in this community to serve us. This area is a mixed bag and I'm quite sure it's a challenge to work here BUT they do. I thank you, ALL of you!
Save yourself time, money, and frustration-- choose an online bank, Bank of America, or Industrial Bank on U Street instead. Had to show up in person just to add me to my wife’s account. After 50 minutes, we were told it’s impossible unless the other secondary holder also appears in person. In 2025, that’s absurd. We’ve switched banks. Credit to the rep as she was great.
