I'm kind of shocked by the bad reviews but I want to start this off by saying that I have very robust insurance and I've never had issues with the payments. My psychiatrist, Dexter Jones, has been incredibly helpful, and actually managed to find the right medication for me with minimal trial and error based on my past experiences SSRIs. The worst! Do NOT use them!! They are difficult to work with, impossible to get answers, and charge you for every little thing, even your own medical records and then even after you pay they request another appointment so that you have to pay again. They charge you a hold and never release it, neglect to put charges through insurance and several of the professionals are horrible. They are all about money - they don't care about your mental health. I wish I would have been warned!
I was told that two days prior to my appointment, I would be contacted by their “insurance verification department” to provide information on the insurance cost breakdown. My card would then have a hold of $250 which would be released once I was seen. Concerning, but okay. There are a lot of clinics that frustrate me trying to get my Concerta which is a controlled substance. However, Psyche Medical Group is been very helpful getting me my medication! Very seamless, I would highly recommend any psychiatrics needs to be taken care of here.
STAY AWAY!!!!!! First they tell you they accept new patients with Dr. Mostakferi or whatever. Then they ask you to put your most confidential personal, medical, and financial information on their website. Then they tell you, No the so-called "doctor" cannot see you but we have nurse practitioners that can see you. Then they tell you our system is teleZoom or whatever, and your insurance only covers some other online health software. Are you sure this is a health care provider?
