On a Sunday afternoon during the football game, I managed to cut myself on a mandolin on my hand. The cut was very deep and required 11 stitches. I went over to the well care on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst. The wait time was OK. The staff there was exceptional. The first medical assistant that came in was very friendly knowledgeable put me at ease and did an excellent job. I have to renew my medical certification every 2 yrs as I am a commercial truck driver. These exams are horrible the majority of the times but this time was different. The assistant was a man from Egypt and lived here in the US now and it made me very proud. The gentleman was as nice as could be. The actual Dr who did the exam named Mark was also amazing. I’ve always been pleased with Wellnow, Wheatfiel! The staff are quick, patient, knowledgeable and kind, so appreciated. All so important when you need urgent care. In addition, they knew exactly when it was critical for me to get to an ER and the PA even called ER ahead and made my case a priority. Kudos for a job well done!! It’s a little further drive for me, but so worth the great care received. Thank you!
I went here on two separate occasions with chest pains and when I tell you the staff on duty both times went above and beyond the standard procedure. I was attended to quickly, professionally and with compassion. Not only that while in the hospital I got a call from the doctor who was on duty that day of my visit called to see how I was which meant a lot. Thank you to you all from the staff at check in to the staff in the back.
