I had an excellent experience at WellNow Urgent Care in South Elgin. The staff was welcoming from the moment I walked in, and check-in was quick and easy. I had a wonderful experience at this urgent care. The provider was incredible—not only was she kind and compassionate, but also had a great bedside manner that put me at ease. What really stood out was how detail-oriented she was. She took the time to listen to all my concerns and was very thorough in her approach. I felt completely confident in the care I received.
The staff was attentive and caring. Bonus: the waiting room had slushies which were a big hit with my 7 year old who had staples put in her head. It was simple to make an appointment and we didn’t wait at all.
Edit: after emailing I received a generic response back and no correction to the problem. I was told I would receive a phone call regarding my son’s test results, but instead I received only a text with a link to the results and no instructions on how to proceed. How am I supposed to treat my son’s illness? Should I give him the antibiotics prescribed for possible strep even though the strep test was negative and he tested positive for something else? Why did no one call me as promised? I am traveling out of the country with... read more
Doesn’t make sense to have appointments if you don’t follow the times and take walk ins first even for clear non emergencies.
