I’ve been here for over a month. And it has really opened my eyes about myself and the problems I have. The staff and my therapist Michelle has helped me in so many ways that I couldn’t see in the past. Very caring and supportive environment. When I first came to New Jersey for treatment, I came kicking and screaming. I didn’t want to be here. I didn’t want the cold weather, and honestly, I wasn’t sure I wanted to face everything that brought me here. Id give it ZERO if I could! I wanted to go to Ambrosia(which is now Pinelands)..I went there years ago and had a wonderful experience and had a lot of clean time. All the groups were beneficial and I learned so much! Well I went to Sunrise detox(which is called something else now)and Kevin made my after care plans with my family without me having any say in the matter.
