Second post 1/23/19 (3 months post program): Just had to share . . . Just got my annual blood work done. My A1C figures: 6.1 in 2016 (pre-Prevent2 program) had been steadily climbing over the years and getting closer and closer to diabetic stage. 5.9 in 2017 after only 2 months in the program. 5.5 in 2018 I am NO LONGER pre-diabetic! I became interested in the Healthy Habits program due to gradual weight gain over the years, and with it some issues affecting my health and well-being. I enjoyed the classes and sharing ideas and tips with other members. This and the accountability and consistent meeting schedule helped me stay on track during the more difficult phases of realigning my eating habits and starting an exercise routine that I could maintain. The best part is that I stuck with my personal plan even during those weeks when life gets in the way and I wanted to put this on hold. "Working with Lisa through coaching has definitely impacted my life. Before I worked with Lisa, I was not aware of why it was important to take care of myself. I signed up for Lisa's class because I was told it was about healthy living. I've known that I needed to get healthier for quite a while, so this intrigued me.
