I’ve had a lot of stressful and complicated dental issues over the past few years, and finding Dr. Carpenter and Wellness Dental La Jolla has been a huge relief. Dr. Carpenter is extremely skilled, very detail-oriented, and has a great eye for aesthetics. He takes the time to explain things clearly and never rushes the process, which has made a big difference in reducing my anxiety around dental work. Nice people but surprised there are so many positive reviews. I definitely had an experience similar to many of the poor reviews. This place upsells like a car dealership. Even the dental hygienist was trying to lure me to get a deep cleaning at a future appointment. You have to pay to park, expect 2 hours for a first time cleaning/x-ray etc. The front office told me that they were in network when they clearly weren’t after I paid $200 for a cleaning and x-rays post insurance. Great experience with Dr Carpenter. Very thorough
Dr. Robert Kim is the best dentist in SD. You have to see his expertise, manner and obviously the results of his work. Another plus? Very clean office, and state of the art equipment. I rarely praise doctors in the USA. Dr. Kim is a wonderful exception.
Best Dentist - Dr Carpenter is very thorough, efficient and kind - his staff is great as well. The office is always clean - and is state of the art!
