Laura is amazing! She is incredibly warm, caring, and insightful counsellor. She has such a calm and genuine presence that makes people feel instantly at ease. Her empathy, professionalism, and ability to really listen set her apart — you can tell she truly cares about helping others. Anyone who has the chance to work with her will be in the best possible hands. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I had a really excellent therapist, but they let her go without warning. That morning they had sent me a reminder text for my appointment the following day. Then around 5pm they texted me to tell me they had let her go, so we didn't even get a final session together. Can not say enough kind words about Theresa James. As the mother of a healthy vibrant adult daughter, it is now that I realize that the phenomenal work Theresa did with my daughter years ago. When my daughter was 12, her father had passed and she was struggling with body dysmorphia and a host of other self esteem and preteen issues. 20/10 suggest going here. Theresa James is a phenomenal being. So thankful for the changes I have in my life from utilizing EMDR and her care. Very LGBT+ and alternative lifestyle affirming. The first time I have felt actually heard in therapy. She’s like an art teacher that teaches you how to create art when all you’ve been doing is painting your whole life. If you are looking for a sign to start finding awareness with your mental health, here it is. 💛
