Avoid yourself the headache and go somewhere a little more advanced. This is the only office in history that wants to send paperwork via a mail and then not even look at it. Had to go there in person to fill out new client paperwork in person before seeing me. Then forgot one of my medications to then make me wait a whole week before communication to the doctor. Love the new staff , Nakita, Courtney, Ada.Ashley are amazing! Nakita is the best primary doctor I have ever had! She is knowledgeable, kind, and so loving! Her staff is absolutely amazing too! Best staff I have ever dealt with! I really love them all!!!
These reviews shock me. I have been a patient of Dr. Beth Carson since around 2010. I was also shocked when she sold her practice and then just left us all behind. Its on her, not the new providers at WellMed. I was going to seek elsewhere for a new provider because I was so nervous to start over, but I always say everything happens for a reason so I gave the nurse practitioner a shot. Nurse P. Sorry to say, but since WellMed bought Carson practice, service is terrible. Dr. Smith left shortly after Well med took over. In addition, Well med overcharges your ins and then tries to collect after your routine office visit with a PA. Never an extra charges with Carson practice , but if you have commercial ins lookout you’ll have to spend hours trying to talk with someone from Well med or your ins to adjust these additional charges. As they say buyer beware.
I appreciate the staff here. I was able to get and change an appointment with no problems. To get my prescriptions filled I called Walgreens and then spoke to someone in the office. It’s been different without Dr. Carson that’s why 4 stars,but today I spoke with Nikita Louis NP and she did my annual wellness evaluation. She was very friendly and thorough, making sure I understood everything. She took time to answer questions. I was very impressed with this knowledgeable and kind young woman.
