Dismissed my doctor without notice. He closed his practice and joined Wellmed about 1 year ago. Now I am told he is abruptly no longer with them. They only have 1 year of my medical records even though I had been seeing this doctor for over 18+ years. It was obvious from the very beginning that this was just an insurance scam/Medicare mill. Now I am left to try and find a doctor. With hardly any records to transfer and 18+ years of a chronic medical condition. Dr Nicholas is still the thorough, kind Dr he always was. But the time it takes to even get labs is awful. After fasting for the labs, there is definitely no sense of accommodating from staff. I guess 2 were scheduled for 8:30. I was early, but of course not the first called back. Over 40 minutes and still waiting, for labs!
They either have a scheduling problem or a staffing problem, maybe both…
