Ever since WellMed (big corporation) bought out Family Medicine of Cleburne, their customer service has been in the toilet. It takes up to two months to get an appointment with a PA and even longer to see an actual doctor. They also have a very high turnover with their doctors, so it is virtually impossible to see the same doctor twice or stay with the same PCP for more than a year. Their referral department seems to be chronically understaffed, because they constantly fail to process referrals in a a timely manner.
I had an appointment about 8-9 months ago. All went well till the end... I was literally told that I did not owe a deductible when I went to ask how much I needed to pay for my visit. Come to find out now they have sent an invoice to collections of $50 which is my standard deductible.... if you had told me that I needed to pay the $50 I would had been more than happy to do so the day of my appointment.
