I have been coming to WellMed for 3 years now and I have nothing bad to say. The people have always been friendly.
Had a Dr appointment today 5/5/25, this appointment was set 3 months prior. When I went to check in I was informed they had dropped my insurance? Why wasn’t I notified? I’m a diabetic and go to this clinic every 3 months for the last 5 plus years. Communication has always been an issue. But really like the Dr I had. Would’ve been nice to be informed of insurance situation before my appointment. Wasted a whole day and drove 45 minutes for this appointment.
Zero stars! Office visit is $100 TO START for self pay then they add on charges for whatever they do for you. THEY screwed up and only called in 2 90 day supplies for one medication and 1 90 day for the other (both taken daily) and refused to correct the mistake without seeing me first. Then they don’t bother to inform you when your doctor leaves. ZERO STARS! Dr. Morton used to be my doctor before I lost my insurance a few years back. I now have insurance through Marketplace so I called today to see about setting up an appointment to see Dr. Morton. The girl who answered told me Dr. Morton was not there for the week but I could see someone else. She wasn't getting it that I wanted to see ONLY Dr. Morton! Then she asked me what insurance I had.
