Two complaints! 1. I got a shot in my arm that no one could explain. What!!! That is totally unacceptable. 2. I had an outstanding balance after insurance paid, which I paid monthly as much as I could somewhere between $100-$400. After a few months of continued paying, they threatened and sent the bill to collections. I was harassed by Medical Revenue Service, the collections agency for asking questions about the process. Surgery at Wellington Regional Medical Center caused me undue stress. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR SURGERY

My father etered the hospital last thrusday. He arrived in an ambulance and was told his kidney was only at 35% functionality and that he was an emergency case. He stayed a total of five days and never recieved the surgery he supposedly needed through emergency care. They left him two days without food and then allowed him to eat saturday and sunday morning and then once again told him that he would not be eating sunday afternoon or monday. An emergency room is intended to find the problem the patient was brought in for. This location does not address emergencies. Twice my father has been brought in bleeding internally. They have on record from previous visits where the problem area is. the last two visits should have been an immediate search to locate the bleeding. Instead they put him in a room coolect thousands of dollars and do nothing. By time they get to him the bleeding stops and at that point there nothing they can do. They reported me to collections - NEVER SENT ME A BILL! I called the collections company to see why they reported me. Turns out Wellington Regional Hospital sent my whopping $100 bill to the wrong address the entire time they tried to collect. By the time I found all of this out, the collection agency reported me and my score dropped drastically. I paid the bill as soon as I found out-thoroughly disgusted.

Was there on 8/12/19. Aside from the fact that they couldn’t find what was wrong, I literally was there from 1030a-5p. It was so ridiculous. I hesitated going in the first place because I had a flight to catch that day. But because I had a flight that day, I decided better to be safe than sorry. Online billing system is garbage. I've had the misfortune to have had several bills due to Wellington Regional that I have attempted to pay via their online system. I registered, never received a confirmation, eventually gave up and used the guest pay function. Once again I have tried to create an account so that I can have access to the bills and payments that I've made (I like to keep records) and the system is stating that my email is in use, despite the fact that I never received a confirmation and have never been able t... read more

I chose the cardiologist and surgeon beforehand - both of which I loved. But billed $115k for 1 night 'for observation'?! I think not! 4 months later, still battling with their Dr's I never met and billing. My advice? Go elsewhere.

There are 3 areas that I will comment: 1.)The Emergency room, 2.)the daily care and the 3.)surgical teams. I was at Wellington Regional for 7 days the week before Christmas. I have had the misfortune to have had multiple hospital stays in my life and I have never experienced such poor reception or service as in the Emergency Room facility at Wellington Regional.
