I've been with them for decades through two dog lifetimes and very, very happy with them. They are incredibly competent and caring, and will always direct you to a specialist if your dog (or cat) needs one - as well as 'fit you in' for an emergency. One of the rare groups in my life I have complete confidence with and I'm totally content with.

I've been bringing my dog here for nine years and the staff and the doctors have been very kind to me and my dog. My dog gets the shakes when I bring her to the vet and they do everything they can to get her to relax. They properly chide me when the dog is a bit overweight. I like these folks and its worth the drive to get there.

Worst service ever! Refused to see my dog who is limping. Called at 8:02am this morning and told the 6 open slots were filled right away. How does this happen in 2 min of opening? Yesterday at 8:55am I was told to call today to been seen. I have been taking my dog there for years. Never again! Interesting Dr. Hartman sent an email talking about how poorly the staff have been treated. Did she consider it may be the staff? It only takes 1-2 to ruin a practice.

I brought my dog in today for the first time and we met with Dr Tast. Everyone from the receptionists, vet tech and doctor was so friendly and it felt as if my dog had always been a part of the WAH family. I feel confident my girl will be in good hands for any routine or emergency care she may need moving forward.

Highest praise to these vets! We travel now miles for our appointments, because of Liz and Janet’s expertise, their kindness, their patience, and long-standing connection to us and our pets. It is like visiting family members who remember all our relatives. (And maybe know us all too well!)

Any vet who would take my dog back after his performance yesterday is a saint! Liz is the best in all ways from compassion to ultimate care ...all with a sense of humor. My dog could not be in better hands.

It's been at least a decade that I have taken my dogs to Liz Hartman at Wellesley Animal Hospital. She gets what kind of life I want them to have and she is bright, direct, knowledgeable, energetic, compassionate, patient, careful, and kind. I STRONGLY recommend her. She has built a great team of people who are doing GREAT work in this difficult period too. THANK YOU ALL.

I have been going to liz with our dogs for 20 years. I consider her a friend, as well as a talented vet. She understands that the health of a dog is tied into the human that cares for it:) She is calm, understanding, and her love for animals is palpable. We have worked with Liz through a diabetic dog, a dog with cancer, and a dog with an auto-immune disorder. I always felt that our dogs care could not be in better hands. Even when I took our dog to Angell Memorial for cancer treatments, I checked in regularly with Liz becaus... read more
