It is sad to say but Wellcare of Illinois Medicare advantage plans pretty much suck. I can find no local provider that services power wheelchairs that are in network. The providers claim reimbursements are too low and so none have signed on with Wellcare. When I call Wellcare customer service or case managemet to address this issue I am left on hold for extraordinarily long times, promised callbacks (which never happen), and generally given the run-around.
