Case in point: we signed up for WellCare Medicare Supplement part D, Prescription drug plan in November 2022 to be effective 1 January 2023; well guess what; the plan didn't take effect until April 2023 and we had to pay out of our pockets for three consecutive months to catch up since both Medicare/Social Security were sending the payments to WellCare; which they insisted they weren't at fault since their billing office was in the process of updating their data systems.
