Update: Well Bye. 7 BUSINESS days to clear a check? It would be faster to move money by stagecoach. Downgraded from 5/5 to 3/5 Use Gulf Coast Educators (Previous JSC Review) Maybe not perfect but let me tell you at least it's not as bad as Chase, BOA, Wells Fargo, Capitol One, etc. This is the best bank I've ever dealt with. I've never had a real serious complaint. Can't say that for the others.
Came in just to get more information about opening account and high yield savings. Miriam T helped me. She is so sweet and informative. We will be back to open an account since they dont do hard pull for credit. I was looking for a bank that doesnt nickle and dime you. Thanks for the help.
Wellby/JSC closed out 2 custodial child savings accounts WITHOUT any notice in 2020. The money was sent to the state and Wellby kept no record of the accounts. Bank with extreme caution. Unacceptable. Update- i have had a more recent experience with Wellby that has been positive. Adding stars to 3.
