From a dog lover To the lady who felt they were uncaring. From your story, you took your dog camping without any current shots. Don't know were you camped, but the Ranger wasn't doing his job if he let you bring in a dog without proof of a current rabies shot. Rabies is a major threat in the US and current shots are required by law, nationally. How did you get the dog licensed without a rabies shot? Parvo is all over the Bay Area and is highly contagious. They were just doing their job. Perhaps you didn't really listen to wh... read more

Nasty vet assistant Good afternoon. I had a terrible experience there yesterday. My miniature Daschund named Buddy had his neutering and dew claws removed and his first parvo shot. I have had alot on my plate, my son passed away in Iraq, so some things in my life kind of got forgotten. I didn't know that you have to have f/u shots for parvo, so yesterday Buddy wasn't feeling well alittle lethargic so when I got to the clinic, it was closed for lunch, so I went to the Pittsburg animal hospital and they called because they cou... read more

Well Pet Vet I thought this place was great. Sure, it looks a little shabby inside but the staff were nice (to me at least), and they did a quick job. I was barely in for 5 minutes for a drop-in vaccination for my pup, and left very happy. I was surprised they did the vaccination in the waiting room though (even though there were no other customers around), but whatever. They did what they were paid to do, and they did it well. I've heard vaccinations were outrageously priced in other clinics, so I guess the price here is a ... read more

Very unprofessional! After calling and welcomed to come down to get shots for my dog, came in and was berated by a lady at the front desk, that she could not have her DPHL shot first and had to have Rabies shot first and If I did not get it first she could be taken away and be put to sleep by Animal Control. I left without shots and when I got home called to get the name of the fill in vet I had recently seen so that I could find out where else she practiced because I don't intend on going back there again and after I mentio... read more

Well-Pet Vet Clinic is Terrific! These people help pet owners! While waiting for a scheduled appointment I noticed that some people don't actually LISTEN to what that the employees say to them. Well Pet has a DROP IN vaccination clinic, the hours do vary so call first, you DO NOT need an appointment! The same holds true for staple removal. Can't imagine any responsible owner not noticing a missed staple.) Not everything is someone else's fault, owners need to be responsible too!

I can only speak for myself and my dog I recently adopted a dog that had recently been spayed here by their previous owner whom I feel was a credible previous owner. Long story short--sutures were said to have been removed but in fact they were not but rather covered by skin that had grown over. This was not previous owner negligence. This was someone dropping the ball. It cost me almost 400 bucks for emergency surgery to get these removed. I don't know the docs or techs here all I know is..based on my experience--why take a... read more

VERY RUDE!! I called to find out the hours of their clinic for shots, and the lady that answered the phone says, "What do you want?" Also, at the end of one my visits I wanted to make an appt. then and there for my next visit, and the lady up front tells me to call to schedule it, because they are busy. Everyone in the front office is rude and very unprofessional. They definitely need some proper customer service training and need to learn some manners.

RUDE!!! I called and left a message (during their work hours), no returned call. I called again and CAROL, answered the phone. She answered - "Well Pet" - and that's it. I said "I'm sorry?" she said "What do you want?". R U kidding??? I immediately asked to speak with someone else. Debbie picked up the phone 5 minutes later (I guess they figured I wasn't going to hang up) I explained my interraction with Carol, and Debbie offered nothing to make me feel better. I am not sure if this is indicative of what other services they ... read more
