Friendly staff but disappointing experience, was only seen for about 20 minutes and didn’t really get any advice or help besides to take some herbs, try a new pump, and make sure to pace feed, all of which is standard information I already knew I was hoping for tips on latching or positions or well anything besides information that a google search would tell me. Instead we tried latching for 1-2 minutes and then I was told to just give my baby the bottle I brought, which was the last thing I expected when trying to get help ... read more
Strongly recommend coming here if you're having difficulties with feeding. My preemie baby was having feeding difficulties that hadn't improved despite weeks in NICU, having seen two different occupational therapists to support feeding, and all the strategies they had to help her get coordinated with her feeding. Within the first appointment here and the doctor assessing her latch, we were recommended a new bottle/nipple that actually accommodated my baby's needs and her feeding improved within the span of the appointment. Dr. Hartman is truly the absolute best! He’s so knowledgeable and understanding. From the very beginning he relieved any anxiety I had about my breastfeeding journey. He’s pretty funny too- I’m pretty sure my partner only comes to these appointments so he see Hartman! I highly recommend Well Fed and Dr. Hartman.
I am incredibly grateful for the support I received from this clinic. The doctors were extremely helpful with my breastfeeding journey, and they always did their best to fit me in for urgent appointments when concerns came up, which gave me great peace of mind as a new momma. The front desk staff were also wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their kindness and professionalism made every visit a positive experience.
All the doctors were really helpful with getting my preemie son to latch and build my milk supply. Everyone working there was very kind and supportive.
