Great technology, seamless install, knowledgeable professionals. Propane bill was killing me and this tech really helps reduce our bill. Nice complement to our solar. I have had Well Connect since October. My electric bill is higher, but I am not spending a great deal of money on fuel oil. It is much quieter than the old furnace. The old furnace only came on twice when it was really cold last winter. I am very happy that I made the decision to go with Well Connect.
We had our WC installed in 2014 so over 10 years ago now. We’ve only had to purchase propane a few times in the past decade and we’ve saved many thousands on our heating cost. Our propane furnace is now over 25 years old but hardly runs with the Well-Connect doing nearly all of the work. We still use propane for cooking and hot water so we like having propane on our property but with the Well-Connect it’s been the best of both worlds for us. We also love the air conditioning. My system was installed professionally by SGI and cost around 11,000$. After 5.5 years, and just out of warranty, my system developed a very small refrigerant leak. This required a service call of which they could not locate the leak.. They charged it with a 1/2 lb of refrigerant but suspected it was likely in the heat exchanger.. Update: I received a call from Well Connect and they are backing their product and will work with me if this issue re-occurs.. I will say overall I'm not sure I'd recommend well connect..This system was installed professionally by SGI and cost around 11,000$..
