Our 15 yr old found this gem online. We're very new to Phx (2 wks) so were a bit unsure about the area...no worries! Loved everything about this place - great, fresh food, super service & the location was perfect. We'll be back ~ Cheers!

Want fresh, excellent food served by personable & entertaining people? Try Welcome Diner. Modest appearance but out-of-this- world salads, including superb vegetarian ones. Roasted eggplant & fresh mozzarella balls in one that starts with a "P", crisp apples & luscious vinaigrette in the Waldorf. The kicker? Made in-house Ginger beer.....
