Took my daughter for a consultation about her tonsils. Dr spent more time telling me about insurance requirements than what he could do for her. I didn't have any issues with the nurse until she called me. She was rude and blamed me for his behavior based on the form I filled out (disregarding the conversation that clarified that information). I read reviews and take them very seriously. I went in because of a salivary stone. I told them on the phone that’s why I was coming in after about a one second exam he started giving me some other doctors name $159 for a phone number he could’ve told me that over the phone
Tried to find out about an appointment my ex set up for my son, they wouldn't tell me anything, so I tried to cancel it, but they said I had to talk to my ex (we have split custody). So I said I'd talk to my lawyer ("You do that!'). Next day I show up, with my son, and have him explain that he doesn't want the operation his mom set up for him (He's 11), explain what part of the divorce decree my lawyer pointed out this was violating, then ask what I can do. Dr. Welch and his staff were very friendly this morning. They were very thorough and gave me plenty of time for questions and discussion. I got my appointment in just 2 days and I went right in after the paperwork was completed. The office is modern and pleasant and I actually look forward to my follow-up visit in 4 weeks. I will recommend Dr. Welch to my family and friends.
He is very abrupt and lacks people skills. I took my four year old to him and he spoke exactly two sentences to her. I tried to ask him questions and he informed me that he had 100 other patients to see before the day was over. It was 4:30 and we had waited an hour to see him.
