Great exam and Dr Welch went over all options
i have a 1 And 2 year old, they had me dialate my 2yr olds eyes for 2 days straight, then we come in for his appt and sat over an hr in the waiting room and still weren't seen, I ended up leaving. the appt before that one took us close to 4hrs, it's ridiculous
I go to doctor Merrill and today I work with his assistant Taylor and she was more than amazing she even taught me how to put in my contacts and was so patient and wonderful.
I was having trouble seeing. My cataracts had gotten very bad. I was fearful because my mother had a bad experience in Oregon when hers were removed. Dr Evan Allan put me at ease right away, he explained how medicine has progressed and really calmed my fears. After my first eye was done and even with my eye shield I could see things I haven't seen in years, like the words on signs, faces that weren't just a foot away. The light amazed me. All I can say is prepare to wait...the quickest I've ever been in and out of this office is 3 hours. I do transports for a nursing home so I have to come here more than I'd like and I've never had to wait less than an hour. Have an appointment at 2? They'll finally get you into a room around 330 but the doctor won't be in to see you for another hour or so.
I have been an avid reader my entire life. It is a passion. Unfortunately, I recently have suffered from cataracts which have prevented me from engaging in my passion. Dr. Evan Allan diagnosed the cataracts and performed surgery on both of my eyes. Yesterday, after I had the surgery on my right eye, I was able to hold a precious book in my hands and read for the first time in 8 months. Be prepared to wait, first in the waiting room, then in an exam room, then in the "back" waiting room, then in the exam room again. Appears they schedule too many people at the same time.
