I stopped by WelbeHealth to ask for some information and also asked if I could get a pair of gloves. I was simply told no, without much assistance or explanation, so I left. For a place that serves and interacts with the public, I expected the staff to be more welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, the customer service I experienced was very poor and left a negative impression.
I've had a mixed experience with WelbeHealth for our family member's PACE care, with a few recurring issues worth flagging for other families considering this program. Transportation: Drivers do not provide door-to-door assistance — someone must be available to walk out and meet the driver at the vehicle each time. This can be workable if you're able to make special arrangements in advance, but it's not the default and caught us off guard initially, especially for seniors with mobility challenges or dementia. THEY STIGMATIZED ME BECAUSE I'M A MENTAL HEALTH PATIENT. I'm done! Some staff members were awesome! I give them 5 stars+! Some of the doctors and nurses got some major self-idolizing going on. I won't put names, but I'll put initials: A.Z., S.G., DR.B., V.L. BYE FELICIA!!! AIN'T NOBODY GREATER THAN MY LORD MY GOD MY KING! P.S. We love our PCP and her staff (Dr Z, and NR). However, the transport vans are the absolute worst. They're meant for cargo, not passengers. Calls aren't returned, needed meds not received. The "Hub" is absolutely useless. Then they have outside contractors who don't seem to understand the simplest questions. A couple of months ago I was coughing and wheezing badly.
