We just returned from a weekend at Grand View and we loved it! We stayed in a cute cottage which was clean and roomy enough for 3 people. The view is spectacular! ! Kirk & Clover were so friendly and were wonderful with our grandson Griffin! Thanks & we will return! Rich & Linda D
Place and staff were wonderful. Beautiful view. Close to all without the rush and congestion. Came the end of Sept.2017 and pool was still open because weather was still so nice. Wish I brought my bathing suit. Hoping to come the end of summer. This time maybe renting a cottage.

Here is your comment on Booking.com. "I am extremely angry that the card I used to reserve the room was charged already for one night before I even got there - but this is not how it is written" It is quite clear, as noted earlier, the policy on Booking.com. Furthermore you stated, "It is VERY misleading and leaves me with a bad feeling almost like I'd been swindled or taken advantage of.." We loved it here and the new owners were super awesome people. Could not have made us more comfortable. Our cabin was all done over beautiful and very clean. Highly recommendthis place with a view to die for. We will be back again next year.
Had the most enjoyable weekend! Stayed in one of the cottages, which hasn't been redone yet. It was very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was that there seemed to be another "tenant" living in the attic of the cottage--maybe a mouse or a squirrel? The first night it did make quite a racket, so we didn't get the best nights sleep. The owners are super nice and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the spectacular view of the lake. Thank you Cindy , we like to hear our guest feedback. It seems just this past week or so we have have some extra tenants. Cottage 3 also had a visitor in thier ceiling. We are pretty sure they are our regular winter guest, Chipmunks and Squirrels. If all goes as planned they will be evicted by this spring. Great weekend getaway! Beautiful location, less than four miles to the amphitheater, owners are super friendly and they rescue dogs, doesn't get much better than that :)

What an amazing week we had at The Grand View! Our cabin was so clean and we had an incredible view. Kirk, Clover and their adorable dog Lilly were so attentive and accommodating, and made sure everyone was more than happy. The landscaping is spectacular, the pool is enormous and clean, the view is perfect. A perfect getaway for families, couples, or anyone that wants to escape reality.
