I attended a funeral about a year ago, and I was very grateful for how it was handled. The majority of the service was very respectful and everything was done perfectly. However, I am was very upset and disgusted by the display of “Support Israel” posters and flyers everywhere. I understand that it is a Jewish funeral home, and in that respect I am fine with the display. I have two sons who are very busy with their own families, and it occurred to me that one way I could make things easier for them is to take care of all the details related to my eventual death. My wife died some years ago and because of how helpful Weinstein & Piser were at that time I decided to return to them. The person I met with was Steven Finkelstein. Weinstein & Piser helped to arrange a beautiful graveside service in the Chicago area for my mother, who was living out of state at the time of her passing. Robert Sheck of Weinstein & Piser was on top of every detail and attentive to all of our needs. He was thorough, compassionate, kind and always accessible. In a difficult time for our family, we were able to honor our beloved mother with a true celebration of her amazing life.
