I don’t have enough words to express gratitude to Ben Schneider at Weinstein & Piser. We lost my father suddenly, I was uncertain of protocol and procedures and I was in the middle of grieving. Ben was absolutely a gift from above. His intelligence, caring nature and believe it or not - sense of humor- helped our family during one of the most difficult times. My son had to stay outside the funeral home in FL for several hours while his father’s body was alone inside to wait for the shomer to arrive in the evening. This was not a Jewish funeral home, though they had a relation- ship with local chevrah kaddishah. They made sure the body arrived in time for the funeral in Chicago. At the funeral home in Chicago there was no sign-in sheet for well-wishers nor did we have time to receive them in the bereavement sitting room, nor did the videographer include them in the video.
