He has terrible bedside manner. My mom has depression and he basically told her that it was derived from her own poor life choices. That she needs to get a job and that she "would make a nice bank teller" if she didn't smile like this and he proceeded to mock the way my mother smiled and said she laughed like the queen of hearts (crazy). He also said that she seemed to be shooting herself in the foot and then complaining about the pain. He said he doesn't do medicaid. did not contact family of hospitalization. new medications prescribed without consulting other family physicians. no physical evaluation was done even though there were prior existing complications from recent heart problems. basically stuck her in a room in the psych ward, only checked in on her late at night when she was sleeping and did not explain why he was holding her for over 2 weeks. Nurse's station is very restrictive of phone use and our family member feels scared, confused and abandoned.
