Amazing food, service and charm! One of the best meals we've had in the Walla Walla Valley since moving here 3 years ago! A short drive from Walla Walla, this charming cafe invited us in with it's historic brick walls and candlelit tables. We had a hard time choosing from about a half dozen entrees on the menu - but settled on a Pumpkin Ravioli dish and Rib Eye Steak with a veal-port reduction sauce and potato gratin. Superb Dining Experience Near Walla Walla If you're staying or traveling through Dayton, at least one meal at the Weinhard is a must. If you're in nearby Walla Walla, it should at least make the short list of dining experiences to try. No longer co-located with the hotel of the same name, the restaurant is now across the street in a beautiful old building with exposed brick, kitschy animal prints that look like something my grandmother used to have on the walls, and colorful "down-home" cotton linens.
