I had my initial visit with Dr. Linda M. Weinfield, a periodontist, in Oak Lawn, IL, and it was one of the most positive healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. DO NOT go to this dental office. They overcharge for standard services such as a cleaning and x-rays. I have dental insurance and have never had to pay out of pocket for services but here the charges were astronomical and even after my insurance they said I owed them over $100. The quality of the staff is terrible, they have deceitful business practices and the doctor they wanted me to see which I refused was older than my great-grandfather, not to mention the office was run down and dirty. I was very impressed. I think I’m going to have some good results thanks to the two doctors & the clinicians who saw me & treated me!
Stay away!! On medicare and was told I had $5000 allowance, yet I received a bill for over $700!! Won't get into it but an example of shady billing...$10 unspecified prevention. When I asked, was told it was "Covid prevention"! I would not recommend if all your looking for is a cleaning!! Shame on you and your staff!!
Lady answering the phone was so rude, she hung up on me!!! STAY AWAY! I will not be coming here.
