I highly recommend Dr. Barry Weiner who has been treating me for the last five years or so. As a Florida resident who spends so much of the year in the sun, I wait until my summer 3-month visits to NJ to see Dr.Weiner. What separates Dr. Weiner above the 6 or 7 other Derms who have treated me is his attention to detail. He spends an inordinate amount of time on me which is rare in this age of declining “quality of care”. He has spotted & removed cells others have missed & also has removed warts
I have been seeing Dr. Weiner for the last 6-8 years. He is very professional, thorough, and explains any next course of action, if required. He never performs any unnecessary procedures. The staff is the most professional and courteous, and even learned my name by my second visit. My son and husband both also see Dr. Weiner. Personally and as a family we have complete trust in Dr. Weiner and would not see anyone else.
When I had a problem and needed to be seen, I was given an appointment right away, even though I was a new patient to Dr. Weiner's office. I was very impressed with both Dr. Weiner and his office staff. They were courteous and professional. Even when Dr. was not available, I was able to speak to the staff and they returned my call promptly with a response to my inquiry.
I met with Dr. Weiner back in 2011 and I recall him being very rude and even a bit creepy. However, he did a good job so I dealt with his condescending and rude remarks (there were several). I recently went back to him (5 years later), I warned my 7 and 9 year old to behave. When Dr. Weiner walked in, he checked a mole on my daughter. He said to come and look at this- well, when my older daughter got up to look, he told her to BACK OFF. Very rude and creepy again (lots of remarks). Do not go.
I went there for 2 issues. Right off the bat he pretty much scolded me for the fact that I had 2 issues to discuss and said he deals with one thing at a time and he doesn't care if someone has a high copayment, that's how he works. I don't even have a copayment so I don't get why he even said that. He briefly discussed my issues, hardly even looked at my skin and wrote a prescription. He was overall very rude and slightly condescending, and it was very uncalled for. I would not recommended him.
He is the coolest most down to earth doctor. He removed an abnormal mark on my skin. He could tell I go tanning and he said you should stop tanning but I know you're not going to like all the other jersey girls.. so please make sure you keep coming back regularly for check ups. That made me want to stop tanning. I didn't like he said but that was just cool and honest of him. I moved to NC and haven't seen him in yrs but moving back and going back to him!
