(Update) I spoke with practice managers (Angel Maldonado and an officer) to request a workflow analysis and improvement in patient management. Their response was completely unacceptable. “the provider is doing her job by taking over 100 patients with only one day available in this location, and that cannot be changed. Weill Cornell pediatric ophthalmology is horrible. Forget about the doctors, I am talking about the staff and office manager. I made it early to my appointment with my 2 year old. Everything was fine until the front desk told me the doctor is running an hour or so behind (which is okay, I get it delays can happen) BUT, as the office manager, it is his job to call the patients to let them know this. Outstanding medical team! All of the ophthalmologist and techs have been brilliant and caring. Observing from the waiting area the front desk staff are always friendly and they really work with patients to ease them through the process. Sadly, all the negative comments are due to insurance and or clerical issues.
Dr. Sun is thorough, excellent, professional, just wonderful.
