The care my one year old got was nothing less than great! The entire staff was very nice and they actually cared. Being there 5 days straight because of my daughter’s surgery took a toll, but the nursing staff made it better. Not to mention she was brought down to a play room a few times to let off steam instead of being cooped up all day. Thanks to everyone there for making me and my daughter’s experience at this hospital phenomenal!
Horrible experience with my daughter! They opened up her burn wound and my daughter was screaming in pain and they left the room for over 10 minutes as she continued crying. We never saw a doctor just an assistant and PA who were not gentle or helpful. They didn’t even know what was going on, they weren’t prepared to see my daughter. They just threw the antiseptic on her burn without even letting us know so we could prepare her for the pain, no follow up care instructions. I will never go back here or recommend to anyone. Excellent team! They are friendly, patient, informative, empathetic and their doctors have incredible bed side manners. With their help, my almost 3rd degree burns healed very nicely! Thanks Cornell Burn Unit!
