I would not recommend Dr J Bhat for thyroid issues. She prescribed a medication to me that is known to cause breathing problems, despite knowing I'd had problems with breathing on a previous thyroid medication. Her justification was that it could have been caused by a filler; however, if the medication itself is known to cause the same problem, it's irrelevant whether the filler caused the problem originally or not. Both my spouse and I see Dr. Gerald Austin as our podiatrist. We have both been to 4 different podiatrists and not had a satisfactory experience with any of them for various reasons. Dr. Austin is definitely a keeper. He is kind, caring and listens to your concerns and addresses them. We have never felt rushed and takes his time with our care. Any recommendations for our care that he prescribed have worked well, which demonstrates his knowledge in his specialty. We would definitely recommend him as your care provider.
The Worst experience with any doctor’s office. All they care about is your copay. They charge $20 for doing a prior authorization for a medication you are already taking. Then, make you make an appointment to see a doctor to confirm that you should be taking the medication that they prescribed in the first place. Horrible service!!! I would avoid using them if you have a choice.
My disabled mother had an appointment today at 11am . Jiva sends out a text message on Saturday morning to confirm appointment for Monday. It takes 3hours for us to prepare for appointment because my mom is in a wheelchair. We arrive and the receptionist states the doctor is running late and they must push the appointment back.umm, I work for a living ma’am. I asked her why didn’t you call? I was referred to Jiva in Vacaville by a doctor at Sutter. I’ve contacted them twice now, and I have to say I am not at all impressed with their office staff. Not only are they unable to communicate clearly, but they are unable to schedule a simple appointment. My referral was faxed over a month ago and again last week. Still they can’t seem to locate it.
