During an inspection a trooper noticed that I had an air hose that had been rubbing, he brought it to my attention and had me call my company to have the air hose replaced. The trooper was very professional and knowledgeable I didn't realize that the air hose was wearing and he understood it was an honest mistake on my part. I didn't get a citation and the air hose was replaced correctly so it would not be any problem in the future.
Guys, your weigh station status sign is not working! Doesn't say open or closed, it's just off. I passed by it several times in the last week or so, and wasn't sure if I should go in or not, because again, the sign isn't working.. you guys had the pre-pass off this morning, August 27th 2024 so I never got a signal to go in
Who was the genius decades ago at the Tennessee Department of Transportation who thought it was a good idea to place truck scales on a hill and near the split of two highly congested interstate junctions. Both north and southbound locations cause back ups and are accidents waiting to happen.
