Update: After several weeks of searching for a higher-up employee to speak to, the issue was dealt with. Why is the current property manager of Stirling Place not fulfilling her job duties? The utility payment due date is for the first of the month yet the mailed copy of the invoice does not make it to the tenant in time for it to be paid on the first. This is a long one but please be forewarned before renting from Weidner. Less than 1 star would be generous!! I lived in Vista Village in the 1990's under a different management company and it was wonderful. I recommended it to my daughter. We moved her in with my two young grandchildren in Feb 2024. Before we could move in, I CHIPPED thick, pitted ice off the entire sidewalk from the parking lot to the unit we were moving her into for almost 3 HOURS - it would have been too unsafe to move anything without doing it. This company is a joke. My daughter is currently living in one of the complexes. She experienced a raw sewage backup/flood in less than two weeks after she moved in. She had to vacate for 5 days while they figured out a new unit for her with no compensation, had to switch utilities and pay transfer fees etc, company claimed they would compensate and only compensated $65. Sewage unit wasn't even properly cleaned/renovated, just dried out and steam cleaned floors. She is now in a unit with a broken unusable mailbox & they have... read more
Living in Lakewood apartments aince 1987 and in the last 2 years there are constant issues with tenant not following noise policy. Issues with high utility bills not equitable when determining utlity portion, it is not based on occupancy. Numerous complaints to landlord and head office regarding repairs required and nothing is done. poor and unresponsive customer service, and a failure to hold themselves accountable for administrative errors.
