This title company is inept. I was involved in the sale of my deceased parents' home that settled on 12/14. There were multiple parties that were required to sign documents in order to close on the house. Because of this, some of the parties were able to get the documents signed and notarized prior to closing. Sold a home on 12/21/23. Check received was held at the bank for 2 weeks ( partly because of holiday) but upon calling for information ,the reason was unknown signature. Called Weichert Title. Response. Oh yeah we recently changed who signs are checks. Sorry. So buyers have the house and we still do not have any proceeds! It will be three weeks before it’s cleared or returned Be warned.

Lori Spitler is sometime very difficult to work with and demanding. It really makes for an unpleasant transaction when her group is doing a closing.
